As a performance artist, Paulina León uses movement as a tool of observation. Across multidisciplinary projects, she works to attune a body permeable to its environment, focusing on the relationship between physical and emotional actions in space. Her practice moves between stage, editorial, and cinematic contexts.
Her current research engages questions of physical authorship and transformation through early motherhood, laying the groundwork for a new writing project. Recent projects include an editorial for Milk Magazine and the short film Duele Más No Saber.
Alongside her artistic work, she freelances in movement direction, web design, and cultural production. With a background in Preservation Design from SCAD focused on intangible culture, her experience includes contemporary dance, artistic coordination, research, and curatorial assistance, having worked with DiabloRosso Gallery and COCO Contemporary Dance Company.
Currently based in Madrid.
